Brian Davison, CEO
Brian has served as the Chief Executive Officer of EquiAlt since the company’s inception. Having more than a decade of CEO experience, he has proven to be a strong and visionary force. He drives the EquiAlt team to success by using a skill set that includes notable achievements in business management, marketing, sales, deal structuring, operations, and consulting. He has experience in institutional and private lending that highlights his management ability, analytical skills, and vibrant overall business growth.
From the real estate recession of the 1990’s to today’s ever-changing market, he has been able to adapt and overcome the challenges the real estate landscape presents. Thanks to his rich background in business management, he realizes the importance of understanding varying strategies and goals in the arena of real estate investing.

Barry Rybicki, Managing Director
Barry is the Managing Director of EquiAlt. With over a decade of experience as a CEO and president, Barry’s excellent management abilities, analytical skills, and comprehensive understanding of business growth significantly benefits EquiAlt’s ventures.
In addition to his thorough knowledge of business administration and management, Barry also has extensive experience in institutional lending, marketing for face-to-face appointments and credit counseling. He has a strong background in commercial lending, portfolio management, acquisition analysis and contract negotiation.
Barry has held banking licenses in Arizona, Minnesota, and Wyoming, as well as a California Finance Lenders License. He has professional affiliations with both the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and the Arizona Association of Mortgage Brokers.
Barry enjoys coaching youth soccer and actively volunteers for his local high school in many areas such as athletics, academics, counseling, and college guidance choices.

His distinguished background in project and asset management comes from a diversified array of industries covering education, health care and most prominently, real estate. Andre Sears / V.P. Investor Relations
Andre has over 19 years of senior management, marketing, finance and business development experience with particular expertise in evaluating and developing new business opportunities. Andre served as Vice President of Business Development for the largest trust company in the state of Nevada and was instrumental in growing the company to nearly $5 billion in assets under custody. He held executive positions at a regional registered investment firm as well as Sun West Bank.
Andre performed his undergraduate studies at Boise State University and had completed Program for Leadership Development (PLD) modules at Harvard Business School’s executive education.
Andre’s strong commitment to giving back to his community shows through his various volunteer activities. He has proudly served on the Board of Trustees for the Southern Nevada Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) from 2008 to 2013. In 2008 and 2009, Andre served as Corporate Walk Chairman for the Southern Nevada Light the Night Walk and is also an active member of the Clark County Bar Association.

Bertram Nkya / Portfolio Manager
Bertram is an integral part of the day-to-day management as a Portfolio Manager at EquiAlt, and as such, he is an integral part of ensuring operational goals are executed.
Originally from South Carolina, Bertram brings his proven track record in the real estate world to Tampa Bay. His wealth of experience in disseminating foreclosed homes as a top agent producer with regional banks in South Carolina brings new insights into the real estate investment world for EquiAlt.
Bertram assists in acquisition analysis, property repair evaluation, contractor oversight, tenant placement, budget reviews, marketing property for rent or sale. As a Portfolio Manager, he hit the ground running and began to make a positive impact on EquiAlt’s portfolio immediately.
He is new to Tampa due to his wife, who is stationed at Mc Dill AFB. We are excited to have Bertram as a member of the EquiAlt team.

Michelle Rodriguez / Back Office Administration – Junior Portfolio Manager
Michelle is in charge of the back office administration for the firm. She holds an important role in assisting the team with a variety of tasks, including tenant financial matters, accounting interface, vendor billing, and HOA matters, just to name a few.
Michelle is also in the Junior Portfolio Manager Training Program and is proving herself to have the abilities, work ethic, and dedication needed to work with our portfolio.
We feel that the cross training of positions, open book management and focus of administration contributes to a cohesive effort to maximize efficiencies and returns while rooting out and removing waste and loss.

The latest addition to our team, Adiel Lopez, has a variety of skills and an understanding of the local market that has proved invaluable to our company. His leadership and in depth experience in the field has already yielded success in maximizing the efficiency of our portfolio. Adiel offers our company expertise in a diverse collection of management activities including tenant relations, vendor management, lease compliance, and contract negotiations. He expertly addresses issues involving property maintenance and repairs, tenant communication and budget preparation. Adiel’s commitment to the well being of our client relations is evident by his attention to detail in ensuring that the properties in our portfolio are very well taken care of. He is also involved in showing properties, overseeing projects, and assisting in the property acquisition and development process.
